General FAQ's

Knights Knation Florida is based out of Bradenton, FL, and also has operations in Port St. Lucie, FL. In the Sarasota/Bradenton area we field teams from 9u- 18u depending on the season! 

 The Knights program is a member of the Marucci Franchise Club, which is a select group of  programs across the country.  We are very lucky to be part of this exclusive group of organizations.  Our players have year round access to Marucci products at a significant discount.  Players will receive this information when they join the program.  

In the Bradenton area, we utilize several local fields for practices as well as our indoor home in Square Up Academy (squareupacademy.com). Square Up is a 23,000 square foot facility that includes a large, turfed retractable cage area, pitching mounds, team training area, full weight room, and is home to the Florida Catchers Lab. 

In Port St. Lucie our players and teams have access to an indoor facility at  GC Indoor Sports, as well as several local fields, to train and continue to develop their skills. 

 We pride ourselves on our coaching staff. All of our coaches are high quality individuals that participate in our program for the betterment of the players and the game of baseball. Our coaching staff includes former professional/college players, former college coaches, current high school coaches, etc. 

Typically, we have tryouts for our high school aged summer teams in early January. Tryouts for high school fall teams are usually early- Mid August.  We plan to continue to offer tryouts in both the Sarasota/ Bradenton and Treasure Coast areas. Each year is different depending on the age and overall strength of the team. However, our schedules typically consist of 5-6 high quality, high exposure events. When selecting events for our teams, we take into account the quality of event while also finding events that provide our players maximum exposure. Examples of tournaments we participate in are Perfect Game, Prep Baseball Report, Prospect Select, Music City Classic, Marucci World Series, etc.

Our program offers development during the summer seasons! A typical summer involves an opening weekend of field practices, weekly practices, and indoor facility access in the Bradenton and Treasure Coast areas. We understand all of our players are not from these areas, and will work with non-local families on a development plan and facility options in their local area to execute the plan.
